Aspect’s magnetic resonance systems reduce costs and waste at hatcheries by giving hatchery operators control over egg gender and egg fertility validation.

Aspect can determine egg gender during the incubation period to eliminate the need for post-hatching gender determination. Gender, an essential requirement in some poultry operations, can be determined several days prior to hatching.

It is estimated that only 85% of incubated eggs are actually fertilized. Fertility can be validated only after 5-10 days in incubation. Aspect’s system provides fertility validation at day zero, before insertion of the egg into the incubator.
